[00:00:04]
TODAY IS WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH, AND WE'RE BEGINNING AT 1105.
[Roll Call]
MADAM CLERK, WOULD YOU TAKE ROLL, PLEASE? YES.TODAY'S MEETING IS HELD PURSUANT TO THE BROWN ACT.
WE ARE PROVIDING LIVE AUDIO AND VIDEO STREAMING.
THIS INFORMATION IS NOTED ON THE AGENDA.
IF THERE ARE NO QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MEETING PROCEDURES, WE WILL BEGIN.
ALL RIGHT. WELL, ONCE AGAIN WELCOME.
[Approval of Minutes]
I DON'T KNOW LEGALLY IF WE CAN HANDLE THEM ALL AS ONE.OR DO WE WANT TO GO THROUGH ALL SEVEN OF THEM AND APPROVE THE MINUTES? IF YOU CAN MAKE A MOTION TO APPROVE ALL SEVEN.
BUT IF ANYONE HAS EXCELLENT ISSUE, YOU NEED TO PULL IT OUT.
SINCE I DIDN'T ATTEND ANY OF THEM, I PROBABLY WOULD NOT VOTE ON THESE.
DO WE HAVE A MOTION TO ACCEPT BY MEMBER COFFEY? I'LL SECOND THE MOTION.
ANY COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC HEARING? NO COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC.
GREAT. THANK YOU. HEARING NONE.
ALL IN FAVOR SIGNIFY BY SAYING AYE.
OUR NEXT ITEM IS PUBLIC COMMENTS FOR ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA.
ANY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC HERE OR PRESENT OR VIA ZOOM THAT WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK.
ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
[Action Items]
WE'LL MOVE TO THE ACTION ITEMS, WHICH ARE THE 2024 PARK ADVISORY OBJECTIVES.SO TO BEGIN THIS THIS PROPOSAL IS PART OF AN ANNUAL UPDATE ON THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE'S WORK PLAN TO SET CLEAR GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR WHERE THEY'RE GOING TO FOCUS THEIR TIME AND PRIORITIES NEXT YEAR.
THESE OBJECTIVES HAVE BEEN REVIEWED WITH THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
THEY PROVIDED ROBUST FEEDBACK THAT WAS INTEGRATED INTO THE PROPOSAL.
FROM THERE, WE REFLECTED WITH A STAFF TEAM, WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER AND WITH THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON HOW WE WANTED TO ACTIVATE THAT IN ALIGNMENT WITH WHAT THE PARK DISTRICT IS WORKING ON IN THE COMING YEAR.
AND SO I'LL WALK US THROUGH OUR SIX PROPOSED OBJECTIVES AND HAPPY TO HAVE A DISCUSSION.
THE FIRST IS TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVES ON THE PARK DISTRICT'S SECOND CENTURY DISTRICT PLAN.
AND WE'LL DIVE INTO EACH OF THESE A LITTLE BIT DEEPER ON THE FOLLOWING SLIDES.
THE PAC WILL WORK TO MAINTAIN AN UNDERSTANDING OF AND ENGAGEMENT ON THE PARK DISTRICT'S ACTIVE CAPITAL PROJECTS, AS WELL AS OUR VARIOUS PROGRAMS. MAINTAIN AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PARK DISTRICT'S FUNDING PROGRAMS. THE PAC WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE OVERSIGHT OF THE PARK DISTRICT'S LOCAL FUNDING MEASURES AND INITIATIVES AND THEN AS SORT OF A CATCH ALL AND CONTINUATION OF THEIR ROLE, THE PSC WILL PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND RECOMMENDATIONS ON PARK DISTRICT POLICIES AND PRACTICES.
AND SO TO FRAME EACH OF THESE IN WHAT WE'RE EXPECTING IN 2024.
ON THE FOLLOWING SLIDES, WHICH HAVEN'T CHANGED UP ON THEIR.
WE'LL HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF CONTEXT TO SHARE WITH YOU.
[00:05:01]
THIS IS ONE THAT WE'RE HOPING TO ACTIVATE EARLY ON IN THE YEAR, WITH A PRESENTATION FROM CHIEF OF PLANNING BRIAN HOLT AT THE JANUARY MEETING.AND INTEGRATE THE PC INTO THE PARK DISTRICT'S PLAN FOR INTEGRATING COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVES.
WHO TO CONTACT IN THE COMMUNITY REALLY BEING THAT COMMUNITY LIAISON AS PART OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS WITH THE GOAL THAT THE PARK ADVISORY WILL HELP PROVIDE COMMUNITY VALUES AND PRIORITIES WITHIN THE UPDATED PLAN.
WHAT WE'RE SEEKING TO GET HERE IS ENSURING THAT ALL PAC MEMBERS HOLD A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE PARK DISTRICT'S ROLE OF OUR ACTIONS AND OUR ACTIVITIES SO THAT AS THEY'RE RETURNING TO THEIR COMMUNITIES HOLDING CONVERSATIONS, THEY HAVE THE MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION.
AND SO THESE WOULD BE INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATIONS WITH AN OBJECTIVE OF THE ALL PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEES LEAVING THE TABLE WITH A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING SO THAT THEY CAN LIAISE WITH THEIR COMMUNITIES ON THE ISSUES OF INTEREST.
THE THIRD PROPOSED OBJECTIVES FROM THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE IS MAINTAINING AN UNDERSTANDING OF AND ENGAGEMENT ON THE PARK DISTRICT'S ACTIVE CAPITAL PROJECTS AS WELL AS OUR PROGRAMS. SO CAPITAL PROJECTS ARE FAIRLY STRAIGHTFORWARD AS DEFINED IN OUR PRIORITIZATION MATRIX.
BUT IT'S A PROJECT THAT HAS A START AND AN END POINT.
TYPICALLY LARGE IN FUNDING IN THE PARK, ADVISORY COMMITTEE WILL HAVE A ROLE IN DISCUSSING WITH OUR DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION TEAM AS THOSE PROJECTS MOVE FORWARD ON THEIR PLANS AND IMPACT. WE ALSO HEAR THE PARK DISTRICT HAVE A NUMBER OF ONGOING PROGRAMS OUR FUELS MANAGEMENT FOR WILDFIRE MITIGATION EFFORTS, OUR TRAIL EXPANSION PROJECTS AND OTHERS.
AND SO HOPING FOR PRESENTATIONS FROM STAFF TO THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THOSE VARIOUS PROGRAMS. SO THAT WAY THEY HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT TOOLS WE'RE USING TO ADDRESS FUELS MANAGEMENT IN OUR PARKS, WHAT RESOURCES ARE WE ACTIVATING.
AND THEY CAN AGAIN CONTINUE TO REPRESENT US WITHIN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY.
OUR FOURTH OBJECTIVE IS MAINTAINING AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE PARK DISTRICT FUNDING PROGRAMS. THIS IS THE COMMUNITY SERVING A SUPPORTING ROLE.
WE'VE SEEN MORE AND MORE ON GRANT APPLICATIONS AND THROUGH DIRECT FUNDING REQUESTS.
FOLKS ARE WANTING TO SEE COMMUNITY VOICES WHO ARE ENGAGED, ACTIVATED AND SUPPORTIVE OF THE WORK.
BUT MORE AND MORE, THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE IS BEING INVITED TO AND PARTICIPATING ON GRANT SITE VISITS AND OTHER FORMAL OUTINGS TO LEND THEIR VOICE AND SUPPORT TO THE WORK OF THE PARK DISTRICT.
THEY'VE ALSO PROVIDED SOME LETTERS OF SUPPORT, INITIALLY FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS WHEN APPROPRIATE, AND SO ENSURING THAT THEY HAVE A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF OUR FUNDING PROGRAMS. THE PROJECTS AND THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORT IS IMPORTANT AS PART OF THEIR WORK PLAN.
OUR FIFTH ONE IS FORMALIZED IN OUR MEASURES IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE MEASURES, THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE, BY WAY OF REMINDER, SERVES AS THE COMMUNITY OVERSIGHT ON LOCAL FUNDING MEASURES CC, MEASURE FF, MEASURE AA, AND MEASURE WW, AND SO, AS PART OF THEIR WORK PLAN, WE PLAN TO CONTINUE HAVING THE ANNUAL UPDATE PRESENTATION ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE VARIOUS MEASURES TO THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE, AS THEY ARE THE FORMAL COMMUNITY OVERSIGHT.
AND THEN THIS IS ALSO WHERE SHOULD THE PARK DISTRICT? WELL, THE PARK DISTRICT WILL CONTINUE ITS VOTER SURVEY PROGRAM, AND THIS WILL FIT INTO THIS CATEGORY AS WELL OF UPDATING THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THE VOICES AND ATTITUDES AND PERSPECTIVES OF EAST BAY VOTERS.
THIS IS A RATHER HOLISTIC OBJECTIVE AND REFLECTIVE OF THE PAC'S CONSISTENT ROLE OVER THE YEARS.
SO THIS IS SHOULD LAND USE PLANS BUDGET PROCESS ORDINANCE 38.
THOSE WILL COME BEFORE THE PAC.
ANY POLICY CHANGES WILL COME BEFORE THE PAC FOR REFLECTION AND COMMUNITY INPUT.
THIS CAME OUT OF A CONVERSATION WITH THE PAC LEADERSHIP AND THE GENERAL MANAGER ON MONDAY.
AND SO YOUR PACKETS HAD ALREADY BEEN PRINTED.
AND SO WE WOULD HAVE INTEREST IN INCLUDING THAT IN WHAT YOU TAKE ACTION ON TODAY.
AND SO WITH THAT, I'M HAPPY TO TAKE ANY QUESTIONS.
THANK YOU. LISA. ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS?
[00:10:08]
I FEEL LIKE WE REVIEWED THIS AT SOME POINT.IS IT? I BELIEVE YOU WERE AT THE PAC MEETING WHERE I PRESENTED TO THE PAC.
OKAY, THAT'S MY MEMORY. SO, YES, YOU'VE SEEN THIS BEFORE.
OKAY. I DON'T WANT ANYTHING, SO I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING ADDITIONAL.
YEAH, IT SEEMS VERY WHAT'S THE WORD? ROBUST. WE USE ALL THE TIME, AND IT SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF FUN FOR PAC MEMBERS.
THEY GET CHALLENGED AND WE GET A LOT OF INFORMATION OUT OF THEM.
I GUESS ONE QUESTION I WOULD HAVE HOW MANY PAC MEMBERS ARE NEW? ARE THERE ANY NEW ONES COMING ON? BECAUSE I ALWAYS WONDER HOW, YOU KNOW, THIS IS THIS IS A PRETTY BIG DEAL.
YOU GOT TO EVEN WITH THIS EDUCATION PROCESS, IT'S GOING TO OCCUR.
YOU GOT TO KNOW A LITTLE SOMETHING.
SOMETIMES. YOU'RE JUMPING AHEAD ON OUR AGENDA.
OUR NEXT PRESENTATION IS ON THE UPDATE OF OFFICERS AND PAC FORMATION.
BUT I THINK ERIC CAN CAN ANSWER THAT QUESTION NOW.
SO WE HAVE NO I DON'T WANT TO JUMP AHEAD IF.
OKAY. ERICH PFUEHLER, CHIEF OF GOVERNMENT AND LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS.
I'M NOT SURE IF YOU'RE TRYING TO SEGUE TO THE NEXT ITEM, BUT YES, WE WE HAVE A COUPLE OF NEW MEMBERS THAT CAME ON THIS YEAR THAT ARE NOT UP FOR RE-NOMINATION BECAUSE THEY OBVIOUSLY WERE NOMINATED THIS YEAR.
WE DO HAVE FIVE MEMBERS THAT WILL BE TALKING ABOUT AT THE NEXT ITEM THAT ARE RE NOMINATIONS, BUT THEY'RE THEY'VE ALL SERVED OVER THEIR TWO YEAR TIME PERIOD, WHICH IS, OF COURSE, WHY THEY NEED TO BE RENOMINATED.
ELLEN, DID YOU HAVE ANYTHING? I SHOULD ADD THERE ARE ALSO THREE VACANCIES CURRENTLY.
GO AHEAD, ELLEN. AND ON ALL OF THESE ITEMS, HAVE THE HAVE THOSE MEMBERS HAD A CHANCE TO REVIEW THEM AS A GROUP TOGETHER ALREADY? YES. AT OUR MOST RECENT PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE, THIS WAS THE CORE PRESENTATION AND CORE DISCUSSION.
AND IN ADDITION TO HAVING A CONVERSATION AT THE MEETING, THE PACK WAS WAS THEY RECEIVED THESE DRAFT OBJECTIVES A MONTH IN ADVANCE AND WERE GIVEN A WINDOW TO PROVIDE REFLECTION TO BRING THEIR COMMENTS TO THE MEETING FOR DISCUSSION.
OKAY. SO I'M ASSUMING IF THEY DID HAVE ANY THOUGHTS THEY WANTED TO ADD, THOSE WERE INCLUDED IN THAT LAST MEETING? YES, EXACTLY. AND THEN THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OR SORRY, THE PACK CHAIR, THE LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE OF THE PACK AND THE GENERAL MANAGER REVIEWED ONCE MORE ON MONDAY, WHICH IS WHERE THAT ADDITIONAL SENTENCE ON DEI WAS ADDED.
OKAY. AND THE ADDITIONAL SENTENCE IS THAT IS THAT ON HERE? NO IT'S NOT I DON'T BELIEVE SO.
BUT I CAN PULL IT UP ON THE SCREEN.
JUST GO OVER IT JUST TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE IT.
SO THE ADDITIONAL SENTENCE IS ON OBJECTIVE NUMBER SIX.
OKAY. GREAT. AND WILL WILL THEY BE GOING THROUGH THESE ITEMS OVER THE YEARS OR.
THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION. SO HOW ARE WE GOING TO PUT THESE OBJECTIVES INTO ACTION? SO THESE OBJECTIVES WILL BE USED TO HELP ERIC AND MYSELF AS THE STAFF TO THE PACK GUIDE THE PRESENTATIONS.
YES, BUT WILL THEY BE WORKING ON ANY OF THEM INDIVIDUALLY, INDEPENDENTLY, AS THE YEAR GOES ON? NO. THERE IS.
EACH OF THESE OBJECTIVES WILL BE PART OF THE HOLISTIC PACK APPROACH.
THERE WON'T BE ANY THAT ARE BROKEN OUT FOR A SUB WORKING GROUP.
THANK YOU. IF THERE ARE ANY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC HAVE ANY COMMENTS? THERE'S NOTHING FURTHER. YEAH.
WE NEED TO TAKE A FORMAL ACTION.
SO I GUESS WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO APPROVE AND FORWARD TO THE FULL BOARD THE 2024 OBJECTIVES.
SO THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE DO I HAVE A MOTION TO GO FORWARD WITH THAT? SURE. YES. MOTION BY MEMBER COFFEY.
SECOND. SECOND BY MEMBER CORBETT.
ANY FURTHER DISCUSSION? HEARING NONE. ALL IN FAVOR, SAY AYE.
[00:15:01]
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR. THANK YOU.AND NOW WE'LL MOVE TO THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
AGAIN, ERICH PFUEHLER, CHIEF OF GOVERNMENT AND LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS.
AND JUST WANTED TO TO YOUR POINT DIRECTOR WAESPI THERE IS ONE PAC MEMBER WHO HAD BEEN NOMINATED AND WAS NOT ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PLANNING PROCESS, BUT ALL THE REST THAT ARE CURRENTLY SERVING WERE ALL INVOLVED IN THIS IN IN WHAT LISA PRESENTED EARLIER. AND JUST TO ADD TO HER PRESENTATION A TINY BIT IS THAT WE HAVE A QUARTERLY MEETING AMONGST STAFF TO ALSO BETTER LINK UP WHAT IS USEFUL FOR STAFF TO HAVE INPUT ON WITH THE PAC, WITH THE PRESENTATIONS THEY DELIVER TO THE PAC SO THAT IT IS A FEEDBACK LOOP AND NOT JUST PRESENTATIONS THAT ARE NOT VALUE FOR INPUT.
SO THAT'S VERY INTENTIONAL AND REALLY APPRECIATE LISA'S WORK ON ON HELPING TO PULL THAT TOGETHER.
I DID ALSO WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE JULIE PADMORE AND HER EFFORTS TO BRING STAFF TOGETHER OVER THIS LAST YEAR TO HAVE THESE DISCUSSIONS CURRENTLY ACTING IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE, BUT DO WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SHE DID PLAY A ROLE IN HELPING DEVELOP THIS.
AND HOPEFULLY WE'LL BE INVOLVED WITH THE PAC MEETINGS IN AT LEAST IN JANUARY AND FEBRUARY.
WE ARE JUST AS A REFRESHER, A 21 PERSON ADVISORY COMMITTEE LISA ARTICULATED THEIR ROLE BUT JUST TO PUT A FINER POINT ON THE NOMINATING PROCESS, EACH OF YOU, EACH BOARD MEMBER NOMINATES TWO PAC MEMBERS, AND THEN THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY MAYORS AND ALAMEDA COUNTY MAYORS EACH NOMINATE ONE.
THE CONTRA COSTA SPECIAL DISTRICTS AND ALAMEDA COUNTY SPECIAL DISTRICTS EACH NOMINATE ONE, AND THE ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTY SUPERVISORS EACH NOMINATE ONE. AND THEN THERE IS A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE CENTRAL LABOR COUNCIL OF BOTH BOTH COUNTIES.
FOR THIS YEAR, WE HAVE FIVE MEMBERS THAT THEIR TERMS EXPIRE AT THE END OF THIS MONTH.
AND I THOUGHT I WOULD JUST TAKE A MINUTE TO GO THROUGH EACH OF THEM VERY BRIEFLY.
BUT THE FIRST NAME ON THE LIST THAT YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU IS LUANA ESPANA.
SHE'S A REAPPOINTMENT BY DIRECTOR CORBETT.
SHE'S BEEN DOING A WONDERFUL JOB.
AND WE'LL TALK A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT HER ROLE FOR NEXT YEAR.
SECOND MEMBER ON YOUR LIST IS BRUCE HENRY, AND HE IS A REAPPOINTMENT FROM DIRECTOR OLIVIA SANWONG.
I MIGHT HAVE ALREADY SAID THAT.
THE NEXT MEMBER ON YOUR LIST IS BOB PEOPLES.
VERY ACTIVE IN THAT IN THAT SPACE IN SAN RAMON VALLEY.
THE FOURTH APPOINTMENT IS BOB REED.
WE'RE INTO OUR SERIES OF BOB'S HERE.
THE FOURTH APPOINTMENT IS BOB REED.
REAPPOINTMENT FROM DEE ROSARIO.
HE'S A MUSICIAN AND EQUESTRIAN.
THE FIFTH NOMINEE IS BOB SIMMONS.
A REAPPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR JOHN MERCURIO, A FORMER WALNUT CREEK MAYOR.
HE OBVIOUSLY RESIDES IN WALNUT CREEK.
HE ALSO IS VERY ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN WATERSHED PROTECTION.
AND HE WAS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF THE DEPARTMENT, US DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.
SO THOSE ARE THE FIVE RE-NOMINATIONS THAT WE'RE ASKING FOR RECOMMENDATION ON POSSIBLY BEFORE WE CALL THAT THAT VOTE, JUST TO LET FOLKS KNOW THERE'S BEEN A LITTLE BIT OF A SHIFT IN LEADERSHIP.
AND I THINK MANY OF YOU WERE AT THE ACTUALLY, I THINK ALL THREE OF YOU WERE AT THE EVENT ON MONDAY EVENING, WHICH WAS VERY WELL RECEIVED AND APPRECIATED BY PAC MEMBERS AND FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBERS ALIKE.
BUT THE LEADERSHIP CHANGE WILL BE CARLYN OBRINGER, WHO'S A CONCORD CITY RESIDENT, FORMER MAYOR AND ALSO A GOVERNMENT RELATIONS STAFF PERSON FOR A HEALTH AGENCY.
[00:20:01]
IS GOING TO BE STEPPING DOWN AS CHAIR, BUT SHE WILL CONTINUE TO SERVE AS A PAC MEMBER.IN HER PLACE AS CHAIR WILL BE CURRENT VICE CHAIR, NEIL TSUI.
I BELIEVE HE ACTUALLY RESIDES IN EL CERRITO, SO HE WILL BE THE CHAIR FOR NEXT YEAR AND THEN AS VICE CHAIR, SHOULD THE RENOMINATION HOPEFULLY BE APPROVED.
LUANA ESPANA HAS BEEN VOTED UNANIMOUSLY BY THE PAC TO BE THE VICE CHAIR NEXT YEAR, AND THEN ALSO CONDITION ON THE REAPPOINTMENT TO SERVE AS FINANCE CHAIR FOR NEXT YEAR WOULD BE BRUCE HENRY FROM FROM PLEASANTON.
SO WITH THAT, I THINK CAN OPEN IT UP FOR QUESTIONS.
THANK YOU. ANY COMMENTS? QUESTIONS? MADAM ELLEN CORBETT, PLEASE MEMBER CORBETT.
THANK YOU FOR PRESENTING THE INFORMATION AND IT'S A GREAT GROUP.
WE'RE GOING TO DO A GREAT JOB AND WE APPRECIATE THAT.
SO I WAS JUST GOING TO SAY I HAD.
I WAS GOING TO ASK A QUESTION OR MAKE A MAKE A COMMENT EARLIER ABOUT THE NEW VICE PRESIDENT.
I THINK IT'S A IT'S A GREAT GROUP WHOSE WILL DO A FABULOUS JOB.
THANK YOU. AND ERIC I WOULD JUST SAY, GREAT.
I APPRECIATE ALL THE WORK YOU DO WITH THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
THAT'S IN ADDITION TO ALL THESE.
SECOND CENTURY PLAN, OUR 90TH ANNIVERSARY AND THINGS LIKE THAT.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE WERE FULLY STAFFED.
SO DO YOU AS A AS THE COORDINATOR OF THIS ORGANIZATION, DO YOU POKE PEOPLE AND SAY, CAN YOU GET IT GOING? CAN YOU APPOINT OR DO YOU ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO APPOINT OR DO YOU EXPECT BOARD MEMBERS TO ENCOURAGE THEIR FELLOW BOARD MEMBERS TO APPOINT? OR HOW DOES THAT WORK? WELL, WE DO SEND OUT REMINDERS FIRST IN OCTOBER, AND I'M MORE RECENTLY SENT OUT A REMINDER IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS HOPING THAT WE WOULD HAVE SOME NOMINATIONS TO ADD TO THIS AGENDA ITEM TODAY.
I THINK THERE ARE SOME IDEAS OUT THERE BY THE THREE ENTITIES THAT HAVE YET TO, TO NOMINATE.
AND I THINK IT'S JUST A QUESTION OF TIMING AND HOPEFULLY MAKING IT HAPPEN EARLY NEXT YEAR.
I'M SORRY. I DIDN'T CATCH THAT. WHO WOULD BE THE ORGANIZATION THAT HAS A VACANCY? THE ALAMEDA MAYOR'S CONFERENCE.
HAVE WE HAD ANY OPPORTUNITY RECENTLY TO TALK TO THE OAKLAND CITY COUNCIL FOLKS TO SEE ABOUT THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMITTEE THAT WE HAVE? THE OAKLAND CITY COUNCIL WORKING WITH.
THE OAKLAND CITY COUNCIL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
YEAH. THEY DO NOT HAVE A NOMINATION POSITION.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OAKLAND RESIDENTS THAT ARE ON THE PAC? AND IF AND I'M GLAD YOU ASKED DIRECTOR OR PRESIDENT WAESPI ON WHICH ORGANIZATION HAS THE OPENING.
SO THEY DO HAVE THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT DOES GO TO THE MAYOR'S CONFERENCE.
STAFF KNOWS I HAD DURING THE COURSE OF A YEAR, DIFFICULTY GETTING THE TERM THAT EXISTED FOR THE APPOINTMENT FROM THE CONTRA COSTA SPECIAL DISTRICTS ASSOCIATION.
I JUST THINK YOU FOLKS NEED TO DEVELOP A CHART OF SOME SORT.
THANKS FOR THE QUESTION, DIRECTOR COFFEY.
[00:25:04]
SO THEY WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO NOMINATE SOMEBODY TOWARD THE END OF 2024 FOR THE 20 2526 SESSION.AND JUST JUST A POINT OF CLARIFICATION, EACH PAC MEMBER IS NOMINATED FOR A TWO YEAR TERM.
COLIN, AS YOU ALL KNOW, AFTER AFTER FOUR CONSECUTIVE TWO YEAR TERMS, YOU HAVE TO TAKE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OFF OF THE PACK BEFORE BEING RENOMINATED BY A DIFFERENT AUTHORITY. IT WOULD ALSO ANSWER THE QUESTION DENNIS HAD, JUST ABSTRACTLY, IF THERE WAS AN ANNUAL CHART OF TERMS, AND WHEN TERMS ARE UP FOR ALL OF US TO HAVE SO THAT WE CAN START THINKING ABOUT THAT, THERE IS SUCH A CHART.
OH, SORRY, THERE IS SUCH A CHART THAT EXISTS, AND WE'D BE HAPPY TO SHARE THAT WITH YOU.
ALL RIGHT. IS THERE ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK ON THIS? SO WE HAVE THE NOMINATIONS BEFORE US, AND WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO FORWARD IT TO FULL BOARD FOR APPROVAL.
DO I HAVE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THIS? I SHALL MOVE.
WE HAVE A MOTION BY MEMBER CORBETT.
IF THERE'S NO FURTHER DISCUSSION, ALL IN FAVOR SIGNIFY BY SAYING AYE.
AYE. A MOTION OR OPPOSED HEARING.
NONE. MOTION PASSES UNANIMOUSLY.
[Informational Items]
HOLY SMOKE! THE UPDATE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SPONSORSHIP POLICY ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ON MAY 2ND, 2023.AMANDA GALLO, ASSISTANT TO THE GENERAL MANAGER.
HERE TO PROVIDE YOU A SPONSORSHIP POLICY UPDATE.
AS YOU MENTIONED, THIS POLICY WAS ADOPTED ON MAY 2ND, 2023 OF THIS YEAR.
SOME TRANSPARENCY OF HOW WE REPORT OUT ON THESE USAGE OF FUNDS.
SO JUST TO RECAP ON THE OVERVIEW OF THE POLICY.
IT ALSO ESTABLISHED THAT SPONSORSHIP APPROVAL AUTHORITY WAS GIVEN TO THE GENERAL MANAGER AND THE BOARD PRESIDENT BOTH WHO HAVE ALLOCATIONS IN EACH THE GENERAL MANAGER'S BUDGET AS WELL AS THE BOARD'S BUDGET, AS YOU ALL APPROVED 50,000 WITH THE ADOPTION OF THE POLICY BACK IN MAY.
IT ALSO CONTINUES FEE WAIVER AND REDUCTION, THE FEE WAIVER AND REDUCTION PROCEDURE FOR IN-KIND SPONSORSHIPS FOR THOSE ORGANIZED GROUPS WHO REQUEST REDUCTIONS OF USAGE OF OUR OUR FACILITIES OR WITHIN OUR BOUNDARIES.
AN ORGANIZATION MUST MEET AT LEAST ONE WHEN SUBMITTING THEIR REQUEST.
SO OF COURSE THEIR EVENT OR PROGRAM OR REQUEST MUST FURTHER THE MISSION OF THE PARK DISTRICT.
MUST ALLOW FOR THE PROMOTION OF OUR MISSION OR FUND.
THEY MUST BE A PUBLIC OR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION.
IT CANNOT BE A PRIVATE OR PERSON OR FIRM.
AND IT ALLOWS OR ALLOWS FOR STAFF TO HAVE SOME SORT OF BENEFIT.
WHEN THE SPONSORSHIP IS APPROVED, FOR INSTANCE, ATTENDING A CONFERENCE OR TRAINING.
SO THIS SLIDE SHOWS THE 12 SPONSORSHIPS THAT WERE APPROVED BY THE GENERAL MANAGER'S OFFICE FROM JANUARY 1ST THROUGH NOVEMBER 30TH OF THIS YEAR TOTALING $45,750.
AND THIS SHOWS THE SPONSORSHIPS APPROVED FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS BUDGET.
SO YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THERE WAS ONLY ONE APPROVED FROM THIS BUDGET.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THE POLICY WAS APPROVED IN MAY, SO IT HASN'T SPANNED THE ENTIRE YEAR.
BUT THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF HOW THE POLICY WORKED.
WELL THE INDEPENDENT ARTS AND MEDIA GROUP FIRST INITIALLY SUBMITTED THEIR REQUEST.
[00:30:05]
THE GENERAL MANAGER'S OFFICE.SO THAT'S AN EXAMPLE OF THE POLICY WORKING.
THE 1500 WAS DID COME OUT OF THE SPONSORSHIP LINE ITEM FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS BUDGET.
AS A REMINDER THEY'RE IN THE 2024 PROPOSED BUDGET.
THERE IS $50,000 ALLOCATED FOR SPONSORSHIP REQUESTS IN THE GENERAL MANAGER'S OFFICE, AS WELL AS $50,000 ALLOCATED FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
WITH THE ADOPTION OF THE POLICY THE GENERAL MANAGER'S OFFICE PROPOSED TO ADD KEY OR REOCCURRING SPONSORSHIP REQUESTS IN HER BUDGET FOR TRANSPARENCY AS WELL AS JUST TO EXPEDITE THE PROCESS.
SO THESE TEN SPONSORSHIPS WERE INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSED BUDGET AND ARE LISTED AS LINE ITEMS. SO THEY WILL BE APPROVED WHEN REQUESTED NEXT YEAR.
THE PRESENTATION OF THEIR NAME, THE DATE AND DESCRIPTION OF EVENT, PROGRAM OR SERVICE.
AN EXPLANATION OF HOW THE EVENT OR PROGRAM MEETS THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.
AND ALL SPONSORSHIP REQUESTS CAN BE SUBMITTED TO SPONSORSHIP AT EBPARKS.ORG.
AND SO WITH THAT, THAT CONCLUDES MY PRESENTATION.
GREAT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. ANY QUESTIONS, COMMENTS? SURE. COUPLE. MEMBER COFFEY.
SO I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS ABOUT THEM.
THE STEWARDSHIP NETWORK 30 BY 30 PARTNERSHIP GATHERING CONNECT FUND.
WHAT IS THAT AND WHAT IS THE WHAT ARE WE SPONSORING? THIS WAS A REQUEST AND SORRY, I'M SHOWING A WRONG SLIDE REQUEST TO SPONSOR AND STATEWIDE EVENT HELD BY THIS GROUP.
AND THE REQUEST OR THE SPONSORSHIP ALLOWED FOR REGISTRATION? FUNDS OF THOSE REQUIRED THOSE REQUESTING TO GO TO THE EVENT, AN ANNUAL EVENT.
COFFEY. DOCTOR ANA ALVAREZ, DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER.
THIS EVENT WAS A IT IS AN ANNUAL EVENT.
SO IT'S THE GATHERING OF ALL THE CONSERVATION LEADERS.
AND IN THIS PARTICULAR PIECE, WE WERE WE HAD A FISCAL SPONSOR, WHICH WAS THE STEWARDSHIP NETWORK, WHOSE RESPONSIBILITY WAS THE ISSUANCE OF HONORARIUMS AND STIPENDS TO ENSURE THE PARTICIPATION OF DISENFRANCHISED COMMUNITIES AND, INDIGENOUS TRIBAL REPRESENTATIVES TO THE EVENT THAT TOOK PLACE IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY OF IN OCTOBER 2023.
IT WASN'T A ONE TIME THING. YES, IT'S AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT TAKES PLACE LAST IN 2022.
IT WAS THE KICKOFF EVENT THAT I SPOKE TO YOU ABOUT ON SEVERAL OF THE PRESENTATIONS THAT TOOK PLACE IN SACRAMENTO, OUT OF THE NATURAL RESOURCES BUILDING, WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THEN OUR BUDGET, STATE BUDGET CHAIR, SENATOR SKINNER, AND THE GOVERNOR REMOTELY.
SO THIS YEAR, THE EVENT MOVED FROM SACRAMENTO.
I SAW SOME VIDEO FROM THAT. YES.
SO THIS YEAR THE EVENT MOVED FROM SACRAMENTO TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WITH THE INTEREST TO IDENTIFY TO CONDUCT THE CONVENING IN A PLACE WHERE WE NEED TO DO THE MAJORITY OF THE WORK, WHERE THE GREATEST OPPORTUNITIES FOR LAND CONSERVATION EXIST, WHICH WAS RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA.
ARE THOSE PUBLIC SO THAT WE CAN, AS BOARD MEMBERS, CAN WE ZOOM IN ON THAT, ON IT OR ATTEND IT? THIS PARTICULAR EVENT, I BELIEVE, WAS VIDEO RECORDED, AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO SEND YOU THE LINKS FROM THE CALIFORNIA NATURE WEBSITE, WHICH IS ALSO SPONSORED BY THE STATE. I'M GLAD THEY CAME BECAUSE YOU SHOWED US A BRIEF VIDEO FROM IT, AND IT LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING I'D BE INTERESTED IN WATCHING, SO THAT SOUNDS WONDERFUL.
IS THAT AN ANNUAL EVENT? AND. DO WE GO TO IT?
[00:35:01]
DO WE SEND PEOPLE TO IT? YES, IT'S AN ANNUAL AND I THINK IT SPANS OVER A MONTH OF VARIOUS CLEANUP EFFORTS, INFORMATIONAL TRAININGS, AND I BELIEVE STAFF DOES SUPPORT THIS EVENT. OKAY.SAVE THE BAY'S BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME.
YES, A GREAT ORGANIZATION, SO THAT'S GOOD.
AGAIN, I'M INTERESTED IN HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN THESE THINGS.
SAVE THE REDWOODS LEAGUE HAS AN ANNUAL CELEBRATION.
DO WE SEND PEOPLE TO THAT 7500? I KNOW IN THE PAST WE HAVE.
YEAH. ARE YOU LOOKING AT THE SLIDES FOR PROOF OF THE REDWOODS LEAGUE? TAKE ME TO THE TREES ANNUAL CELEBRATION 75.
YEAH. I BELIEVE A LOT OF THESE SPONSORSHIPS DO INCLUDE, YOU KNOW, EITHER A TABLE OR TICKETS.
AND WE OFTEN DO SEND STAFF OR YOU ALL, AS BOARD MEMBERS, DO ATTEND AND REPRESENT THE PARK DISTRICT.
OKAY. IT'S FULLY POSSIBLE THAT I GOT A NOTE AT SOME POINT, AND SO I'M TRYING TO CATCH UP.
ALL RIGHT. THOSE ARE THE QUESTIONS I HAD ABOUT EXISTING STUFF.
I HAVE HAD A RECENT CONVERSATION WITH SUSAN ABOUT DENNIS AND I BOTH DID ABOUT THE HISTORIC ANNUAL SPONSORSHIP WE HAVE WITH DOUG MCCONNELL'S OPEN ROADS PROGRAMING AND THE BAY NATURE MAGAZINE.
AND RE-UPPING THAT HISTORIC SPONSORSHIP WE'VE HAD OF THOSE PROGRAMS, THIS ISN'T AN ACTION ITEM, BUT I WOULD AT SOME POINT WANTED THAT AN ACTION ITEM IF IT WASN'T GETTING DONE SO THAT WE COULD DO IT AT THE BOARD LEVEL, WHATEVER'S NEEDED.
AND JUST TO REFLECT THAT, I DID HEAR FROM SUSAN ON IT.
YES. SO WE HAVE MET WITH WITH BOTH ORGANIZATIONS.
WE ARE WAITING FOR THEIR PROPOSAL.
I WILL REMIND YOU THAT THIS SPONSORSHIP POLICY SUPPORTS NONPROFITS AND PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS.
SO IF IT'S A PRIVATE FIRM IT CANNOT BE APPROVED UNDER THIS POLICY.
SO WE'RE WAITING TO HEAR THE PROPOSAL.
YES. AND WE'RE WORKING WITH THEM ON THEIR PROPOSAL.
OPEN ROADS IS A FOR PROFIT PROGRAMING OPERATION IN WHICH WE HAVE THE EQUIVALENT OF PAID ADVERTISING, EITHER THROUGH UNDERWRITING IT OR PAYING FOR TIME, WHATEVER THAT IS.
AND PUBLIC AGENCIES DO THAT ALL THE TIME.
SO ONE WAY OR THE OTHER, IF IT'S NOT A SPONSORSHIP, IT'S JUST A MARKETING EXPENSE.
BUT WE, AND AT LEAST THREE OR SO OTHER PUBLIC AGENCIES HAVE HISTORICALLY PROMOTED THAT PROGRAMING.
AND SO, AS AMANDA SAID, WE ARE THEY'VE BEEN IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH BOTH ORGANIZATIONS.
OKAY. SO WHEN WE GET THAT, WE'LL BUT IT'S NOT A NONPROFIT SPONSORSHIP.
THAT'S NOT A NONPROFIT DIRECT MARKETING.
AND SO WE'D HAVE TO APPROACH THAT DIFFERENTLY.
IT'S NOT IT WOULDN'T BE AS PART OF.
AND THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO MAKE SURE IT'S NOT CURRENTLY BUDGETED.
IT WAS HISTORICALLY SOMETHING I KNOW THESE HAVE NOT BEEN HISTORICALLY BUDGETED.
WE'VE BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS.
THESE HAVE ALL BEEN JUST DONE OFF THE BOOKS.
WE CAN LET ME FOLLOW UP OFFLINE WITH YOU ON THAT.
BUT THEY'VE NOT BEEN EXPLICITLY BUDGETED.
OKAY. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE CONTINUE THOSE.
SO WE'RE WAITING ON THE PROPOSAL FROM THEM.
THANK YOU. I JUST HAVE A LITTLE MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS, THIS LIST AS WELL.
FOR EXAMPLE, THE ALAMEDA COUNTY WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME.
I HAVE ATTENDED THAT BEFORE, BUT WHAT WHAT DOES THIS ORGANIZATION DO AS PART OF ORGANIZING FOR THAT EVENT? BECAUSE I'VE ATTENDED, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BECAUSE IT WAS ORGANIZED AS PART OF WHAT WE WERE DOING.
DO WE KNOW MORE ABOUT THAT? THAT GOES THROUGH AS I KNOW YOU'VE ATTENDED THAT IN THE PAST, AND I WAS ABLE TO ATTEND ALONG WITH, I THINK WE ONLY RECEIVED ONE OTHER TICKET THIS LAST YEAR BECAUSE IT WAS THEY WERE JUST COMING OUT OF COVID.
SO IT WAS NOT AS ORGANIZED AS IT HAS BEEN HISTORICALLY.
AND I THINK WE TALKED ABOUT, YOU KNOW, MAKING SURE THAT NEXT YEAR THAT THEY, YOU KNOW, EARLIER, IF WE'RE GOING TO DO THIS AS AN ANNUAL SPONSORSHIP, HAVE THOSE TICKETS AVAILABLE SO THAT WE CAN EXTEND IT TO THE BOARD SO THAT YOU CAN ATTEND.
BUT THIS YEAR, IT REALLY WAS WE SPONSORED IT ENABLED THEM TO, I BELIEVE, HAVE SOME ATTENDEES THERE THAT WERE AS PART OF SOME NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS.
SO WE SUBSIDIZE THE ATTENDANCE FOR SEVERAL PEOPLE AND GOT ON AND GOT OUR LOGO IN THE BROCHURE.
YES. OKAY. YES, I DO REMEMBER THAT.
THANK YOU. CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT THIS, THE LIST? DO THEY INCLUDE ATTENDANCE BY THE BOARD MEMBERS AT THESE?
[00:40:04]
I KNOW SOME OF THEM. YES, I KNOW, BECAUSE WE ATTEND, BUT IS IT TRUE FOR ALL OF THESE ITEMS AND EVENTS, OR ARE THEY JUST YOU KNOW, TO HELP PAY FOR THAT, PUTTING THAT EVENT TOGETHER OR IT ALL DOES IT INCLUDE AS FAR AS ATTENDANCE? IT VARIES BY ORGANIZATION.SO USUALLY WHEN THEY REQUEST A SPONSORSHIP, THEY'LL GIVE US A DESCRIPTION OF WHERE OUR FUNDS ARE GOING, WHETHER IT'S TO SUPPORT REGISTRATION OR JUST THE ACTUAL EVENT OR HAVE OUR LOGO INCLUDED.
COULD WE GET A LIST OF WHICH ONES INCLUDE ATTENDANCE FOR ALL OUR BOARD MEMBERS? SURE, BECAUSE I KNOW SOMETIMES WE'RE ASKED ABOUT ATTENDING.
USUALLY IT'S KIND OF LATE IN THE TIME.
SO, YEAH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
AMANDA. I GUESS MY ONLY QUESTION WOULD BE OTHER THAN THANKS FOR THE GREAT PRESENTATION.
THE UNDER THE POLICY OVERVIEW, THE CONTINUANCE OF THE FEE WAIVER AND REDUCTION.
HOW DOES THAT WORK? IF I CAME AND SAID, HEY, I GOT A REALLY GOOD ORGANIZATION, I'D LIKE TO HAVE YOU WAIVE THE FEES FOR A RESERVATION AT A AT A CAMPSITE. HOW DOES THAT WORK? I MEAN, I KNOW HOW IT USED TO WORK, BUT I, I THE WORD FORMALIZATION CAME INTO THIS, SO I'M WONDERING WHAT HOW THAT WORKS.
YEAH. WE DON'T HAVE IT'S MY UNDERSTANDING.
MAYBE YOU CAN CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG.
WE DON'T HAVE THAT MANY REQUESTS.
BUT THE WAY THAT IT HAS WORKED IS IT GOES THROUGH THE AGM OF OPERATIONS FOR APPROVAL.
OTHER THAN THAT, GREAT. AND I AGREE WITH DIRECTOR COFFEY.
I THINK WE REALLY SHOULD LOOK HARD AND MAKE IT WORK FOR BAY NATURE AND BACKROADS.
SO IS THERE I AGREE WITH THAT AS WELL.
THANK YOU. CORBETT AGREES ALSO.
SO IS THERE ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC THAT HAS ANYTHING OR ANYBODY ON ZOOM THAT HAS ANY QUESTIONS? SEEING NONE.
THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL ITEM.
JUST UPDATING US AND THANK YOU.
THIS IS WE YOU KNOW, WE ASKED FOR THIS WHEN WE WE PASSED THIS POLICY AND IT'S WONDERFUL.
IT LAYS IT ALL OUT AND MAKES TOTAL SENSE TO ME NOW, TOTAL SENSE.
SO THANK YOU. YEAH THAT'S GREAT.
YEAH I JUST WANT TO ECHO THAT AND TO REALLY THANK AMANDA FOR KIND OF BEING THE POINT PERSON ON THIS AND AND ESPECIALLY THANK DIRECTOR COFFEY WHEN HE WAS THE BOARD PRESIDENT AND THEN DENNIS, FOR CARRYING THIS ON FOR US TO PROVIDE SOME STRUCTURE HERE AND TRANSPARENCY AND I, I THINK IT'S WORKING SO GREAT, GREAT, GREAT ALL AROUND.
[Announcements]
GREAT. WE'LL MOVE NOW TO ANNOUNCEMENTS.DO WE HAVE ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS BY STAFF? DO WE HAVE ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS BY BOARD MEMBERS? I WOULD JUST SAY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR INVITING ME HERE TODAY.
AND OF COURSE, I APPRECIATE BEING HERE AND ALSO THINKING POSITIVE ABOUT PERSON WHO'S NOT HERE TODAY.
AND IT'S, YOU KNOW, IT'S MY HONOR TO BE HERE FOR ON HER BEHALF TODAY.
AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD IN THE FUTURE TO BE PART OF THIS COMMITTEE AS NEXT YEAR COMES ALONG.
YOU'LL BE ON PERMANENTLY NEXT YEAR.
SO MY ONLY COMMENT WOULD BE BECAUSE I PROBABLY WON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TIME TO DO IT.
I WANTED TO THANK STAFF, THE ESPECIALLY THE LEGISLATIVE AND PUBLIC OR GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS STAFF, FOR THE WONDERFUL RECEPTION WE HAD OR AWARDING OF THE RADTKE AWARD. I CAN'T SAY YES, EXACT TITLE, THE COMPLETE TITLE.
SO I THINK WE GOT TO CALL IT THE OSCARS OR THE GRAMMYS OR THE RADTKE'S.
BUT THAT AWARD CEREMONY WAS REALLY, REALLY A NICE EVENT.
AND I IT WAS THE STAFF DID A GREAT JOB.
MARK MAKES IT AN EXCELLENT EVENT.
HE CLEARLY REALLY ENJOYED IT BECAUSE HE JUST HUNG OUT AND AND HE'S A BUSY GUY.
WHEN WE GO BACK, THERE IS A HAT AND HE'S NOW HAS ONE.
SO AND ALSO THE PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND THE FOUNDATION I WAS GOING TO SAY PARTY, BUT IT WAS WE TWISTED AND TURNED AND CALLED IT AN EVENT. IT WAS A DARN GOOD PARTY.
SO I WANT TO THANK WHOEVER WAS IN CHARGE OF THAT.
AND IT WAS A REALLY GOOD TIME AND AN EXCELLENT BLEND OF DIFFERENT PEOPLE THAT HAVE THE SAME GOALS.
SO IT WAS REALLY GREAT. SO THANK YOU.
[00:45:02]
ANY MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC HAVE ANY.WE'RE OUT OF HERE BY 12 OR CLOSE.
WE ARE ADJOURNED. THANK YOU.
